Job Description:

ACKO is looking for a talented UI Engineer – 2 with strong design and development skills to join its fast-growing engineering team.

You’ll collaborate with designers and developers to bring ideas to life, create reusable components, and set the foundation for consistent, high-quality user experiences across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a robust design system for consistent user experience across platforms.
• Build reusable, high-quality UI components for multiple projects.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Regularly review and improve the design system based on user feedback and industry trends.
• Document and communicate best practices for design system usage.
• Explore opportunities to extend the design system into Flutter.

Key Technical Skills:

React.js, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, Next.js (preferred), Design Principles, State Management, Front-end Build Pipelines

Preferred Skills:

Flutter (interest/experience), Page Speed Optimization, Strong documentation and communication skills

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a UI Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in React.js with Redux or similar state management libraries.
• Expertise in semantic HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and modern front-end principles.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Webpack and modern build pipelines.
• Knowledge of Next.js or server-side rendering frameworks is a plus.
• A B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institution.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in exploring Flutter for extending the design system is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
